Our PCD turning inserts offer significant advantages over conventional carbide inserts in non-ferrous materials such as superior edge sharpness and up to 100 times more abrasion resistance. Abrasion resistance and surface roughness requirements are all taken into account as we select the PCD grade for your application. Dimensional tolerances and finish can both be improved by our superior edge quality. PCD segment sizes are established to cover your DOC requirements and allow for resharpening.
